It was game of the year of the decade of the football season. The battle between the top two teams in the AFC on Monday Night Football as the playoff races were heating up. It was supposed to be an epic duel of two teams, one being the prennial favorite and the other trying to fight it’s way into the big boy’s club and be contenders. The “epic duel” lasted for about half a quarter before Tom Brady and the New England Patriots told the Houston Texans to step off. Led by Brady and the Patriots’ punishing defense, the New England Patriots won by the final of 42-14 in front of their home-crowd. At no point did this game feel close. The Patriots marched up and down the field early on the Houston Texans vaunted defense. Then, when the offense went cold, the defense stepped up, tackling well and stopping the Texans on two fourth down plays in the second quarter.
