New England Patriots vs. Miami Dolphins | Sideline Camera | 1990 (by TheBillGonzalez)
This video popped up on YouTube yesterday with the following disclaimer:
This video is a digital dump of a single Beta tape I found in the midst of tapes I own. I have no idea how it came into my possession and do not claim ownership. I am posting strictly for historical purposes and general curiosity.
I just enjoy watching the footage despite the lack of sound. It brings back a lot of memories of ****** Patriots teams I watched in the old stadium. Grogan at the end of the line. John Stephens. I’d say “good times” but they really weren’t. But I sure did love seeing games there.

New England Patriots Bill Belichick is one of the best Head Coaches in the history of the NFL, but he is terrible at developing wide receiver talent. Bill Belichick’s old WR experiments need to start producing long term success. The only drafted wide receiver under Bill Belichick’s tenure with the Patriots that put up any significant impact was Deion Branch and Branch was promptly...
It’s being reported that the New England Patriots have released veteran tight end Kellen Winslow, though I don’t know what the actual reason is. Possibly not enough targets or playing time or that didn’t mesh with the “Patriot Way.”
TE Kellen Winslow asked for and received release from Patriots, per source. Also sounds like Aaron Hernandez healing quicker than expected...
The Kellen Winslow Experiment Ends
A.B. The Kellen Winslow experiment ends in New England, really to no one’s surprise. He was clearly a stop gap for the Patriots until Aaron Hernandez came back. Winslow only caught 1 ball for 12 yards during his nine day tenure with the Pats. But what is surprising is that Winslow was the one who wanted to be released…
And while Schefter and...
The brilliant South Park was back with a new episode on Wednesday night and as always, it was something else (biting and insightful commentary, eh?). Without getting into too many specifics about the plot — although the particulars of the phenomenal episode merits discussion — the episode was entitled “Sarcastaball” and for the purposes of this post, [...]
Bill Belichick may not have meant any disrespect by grabbing an official after Sunday's loss to the Ravens, but he'll still be charged for it. Jason La Canfora from CBSSports.com tweeted that the NFL will be announcing discipline for Belichick on Wednesday following Sunday night's incident when grabbed a replacement official searching for an explanation on a questionable...
I actually think Wendell has been one of the biggest surprises so far this year. I don’t think...
Gronk Poses With His Breakfast Cereal At Stop & Shop.
Patriots All-World tight end Rob Gronkowski does not shy away from the spotlight, but he also knows when to use his celebrity to HELP others. Today, Gronk held a press conference at the Stop & Shop in Walpole to promote “Gronk Flakes” in front of a sea of fans and media members.
A portion of the proceeds...
Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick Fined $50,000 Dollars -
New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick was fined $50,000 by the NFL for his contact with an official after Sunday night’s 31-30 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, the league announced Wednesday. “Belichick was fined $50,000 for impermissible physical contact with an official after Sunday night’s Patriots-Baltimore...
Tom Brady's right shoulder injury no longer exists. The Patriots quarterback was removed from Thursday's practice report after being limited Wednesday.
Here's the rest of the report:
Did not participate: wide receiver Julian Edelman (hand), defensive lineman Justin Francis (ankle), tight end Aaron Hernandez (ankle), and offensive lineman Logan Mankins (hip).
In a conference call with the media, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick attempted to explain his efforts to talk to official after the game.
Patriots @ Ravens - Wes Welker 59yd Reception!! (by NFLHighlightReplays)
Not often you see Ed Reed bite on an out like that.
After the Ravens’ winning field goal on Sunday night went suspiciously close to going over the uprights, Bill Belichick ran down a scab ref and grabbed him by the arm. The scab broke free which is bad, because Billy B should know better than to try to get away with arm tackles. Don’t bring that weak sh*t just ’cause it’s a scab.
Anyway, when it happened, everyone was like...

The Titans started out the year with some good defense in the second half, holding the Patriots to punts on their first two second half possessions. Ever since Bill Belichick made the questionable but not clearly wrong decision to punt on fourth down and two from the Titans 40 with with 5:44 to go in the third quarter while holding a 10-point lead, the Titans have basically stopped...
