New England Patriots vs. Miami Dolphins | Sideline Camera | 1990 (by TheBillGonzalez) This video popped up on YouTube yesterday with the following disclaimer: This video is a digital dump of a single Beta tape I found in the midst of tapes I own. I have no idea how it came into my possession and do not claim ownership. I am posting strictly for historical purposes and general curiosity. I just enjoy watching the footage despite the lack of sound. It brings back a lot of memories of ****** Patriots teams I watched in the old stadium. Grogan at the end of the line. John Stephens. I’d say “good times” but they really weren’t. But I sure did love seeing games there.

Kellen Winslow Asks For & Is Granted Release From Patriots

The Kellen Winslow Experiment Ends A.B. The Kellen Winslow experiment ends in New England, really to no one’s surprise. He was clearly a stop gap for the Patriots until Aaron Hernandez came back. Winslow only caught 1 ball for 12 yards during his nine day tenure with the Pats. But what is surprising is that Winslow was the one who wanted to be released… And while Schefter and...

Oh my: ‘South Park’ premiere features Tom Brady drinking ‘Butters Creamy Goo’ (vid)

The brilliant South Park was back with a new episode on Wednesday night and as always, it was something else (biting and insightful commentary, eh?). Without getting into too many specifics about the plot — although the particulars of the phenomenal episode merits discussion — the episode was entitled “Sarcastaball” and for the purposes of this post, [...]

O Line Question(s). Im not sure if Im just biased or not-football-smart but I like Donald Thomas over Wendell. Hell, last year I liked Nick McDonald more than Wendell. So... What do you think of Wendell? Who do you think the Pats best 5 are on the line?

Bill Belichick Receives Relatively Mild Ginger Hammering

After the Ravens’ winning field goal on Sunday night went suspiciously close to going over the uprights, Bill Belichick ran down a scab ref and grabbed him by the arm. The scab broke free which is bad, because Billy B should know better than to try to get away with arm tackles. Don’t bring that weak sh*t just ’cause it’s a scab. Anyway, when it happened, everyone was like...

Jerry Gray Needs to Start Making Better Adjustments

The Titans started out the year with some good defense in the second half, holding the Patriots to punts on their first two second half possessions. Ever since Bill Belichick made the questionable but not clearly wrong decision to punt on fourth down and two from the Titans 40 with with 5:44 to go in the third quarter while holding a 10-point lead, the Titans have basically stopped...
