Patriots Chronicle:
New England has agreed to a two year deal with 3-4 defensive end Marcus Stroud. The Patriots already have two defensive ends on the left side in Ron Brace and Brandon Deadrick. This move basically means that the Buffalo Bills 3-4 left end will play right end in the 3-4 scheme for the New England Patriots next year. This also means New England will probably go outside linebacker and running back in round 1. New England could still get a defensive end, but they will probably draft a right end to backup Stroud in the later rounds because they need to add youth at so many positions in April’s draft. I told everyone at Rant Sports that Jordan would be the pick here if he falls he still could be, but I see the Patriots drafting Akeem Ayers and Mikel LeShoure in round 1 now thanks to this offseason acquisition.
