First-year general manager Scott Pioli was Bill Belichick's right-hand man at New England for nearly a decade. New head coach Todd Haley, known for his fiery confrontations with players in his previous coordinator job with the Arizona Cardinals, has brought a new intensity and work ethic to the team that's a real contrast to the way former coach Herm Edwards ran things. New DC Clancy Pendergast, who coached with Haley at Arizona, is bringing the 3-4 scheme to the Chiefs. And former Patriots' QB Matt Cassel, who won 10 games for New England last season in Tom Brady's absence, brings a new sense of confidence to the Chiefs...
