The speculation on the Miami Dolphins logo change for 2013 is one step closer to reality.   “A few have seen it”, said Mike Dee, CEO of the Miami Dolphins when asked about the new logo in a recent interview with Finatics.com and other Miami Dolphins fan websites.  According to Dee, the new Miami Dolphins logo has been seen by 3 former players of the Miami Dolphins – Dan Marino, Bob Griese, and Jason Taylor.   Each one of them saw the new logo at separate seatings.  When asked what each one of them thought, they all responded with high praise.  All thought that it captured the history, colors, and essence of what the Miami Dolphins stand for.It is expected that the new Miami Dolphins logo, with new uniforms will make its debut for the 2013 season.

Bold Prediction: The Dolphins Will Trade Reggie Bush By Season End

As a starting running back in the National Football League, Miami Dolphins' running back Reggie Bush has had a horrible 2012 campaign. Bush has only crossed the 100 yard mark in rushing once this season, and that was against the lowly Raiders' defense. Bush has only managed 82 rushing yards in the last three games, while also coughing up a fumble which in turn resulted in...

Marcus Thigpen ignites Dolphins return game

DAVIE, Fla. Reality has set in for the Miami Dolphins, who are 4-6 and riding a three-game losing streak. Barring a miracle turnaround, this season will not be about fighting for a playoff berth in Year No. 1 under Joe Philbin. Its about building a foundation and finding players who can make a difference. Enter Marcus Thigpen. The former Indiana running back already has found...

Dolphins Division: Dolphins slide continues, Pats off and running

The Miami Dolphins were once 4-3, but that was a long time ago my friends.  The Dolphins currently sit at 4-6 and are now 3 games behind the Patriots in the AFC East.  The rest of the division isn’t doing much better, since the Bills and Jets are tied with the Dolphins for 2nd (and last) place.  Since all 4 teams were tied at 3-3, the Pats have gone 4-0, with the rest of the...

Pitiful Picks: Thanksgiving Day Style!

The Miami Dolphins coaching staff rearranged the Dolphins practice schedule this week to give the players off for Thanksgiving.  The Dolphins practiced on Tuesday, a day that they are usually off, so that they could spend Thanksgiving with their families.  Hopefully, the Dolphins coaches ‘family’ approach will pay off as they continue preparations for the Seahawks tomorrow...

Carroll and Bush meet again as Seattle faces Miami

When Reggie Bush got his chance to face Pete Carroll in the NFC playoffs two seasons ago, he couldn't wait. It was the opportunity to show off before his former college coach when injuries in the New Orleans backfield left Bush as the featured back. Then Bush carried the ball just five times and was left watching Carroll celebrate the Seahawks' upset victory of the then...

Seattle Seahawks vs Miami Dolphins: Battle Of The Rookie Quarterbacks

When the Miami Dolphins selected Ryan Tannehill with the 8th pick of this year’s draft, they didn’t expect him to be their starting quarterback, at least not this year. The prevailing theory was that he would sit on the bench this year and start next year. Tannehill obviously didn’t get that memo; he went out and grabbed the starting job before the first game of the season...

Miami Dolphins: Week 12 NFL Power Rankings (#19)

Last week: 16 (-3) Record: 4-6 Ryan Tannehill was awful last week at Buffalo, going 14 of 28 for 141 yards, 1 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions, but he was a rookie quarterback on the road on a short week. Still, it’s safe to say that any early hype about him is dead now that they’ve lost 3 straight. In his last 3 games, he’s gone 59 of 105 for 648 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 5...

Dolphins' alarming run game bothers Sherman most

The Miami Dolphins' rushing offense started the season as one of the best units in the league, but it hit a wall after three weeks. What began as a slump is looking more like the norm, and the fast start now appears to have been an anomaly. Miami amassed 572 rushing yards through the first three games of the season, highlighted by a 263-yard clinic Week 2 against the Oakland...

Leon Lett remains football’s biggest turkey

Leon Lett was part of three Dallas Cowbo Super Bow teams. Lett was a two time pro bowl player. Yet, the most memorable plays of his career are blunders. The most memorable  play of Lett’s career happened in a game against the Miami Dolphins in 1993.That day the Texas Stadium was covered with snow and sleet as a rare storm pounded the area. Dallas led 14-13 with 15 seconds left...
