Found March 30, 2012 on NorthWest Sports Beat:
It's going to be a great week for longtime supporters of the Seattle Seahawks.

PER Danny O'Neil from the Seattle Times.

The Seahawks' new uniform is expected to have a third, alternate jersey that will be gray, according to a source. This jersey would be a third option to the blue, which is typically worn at home, and the white shirts often worn on the road.

Wow are you kidding me? Not only are we getting NEW uniforms from Nike, but we're also getting a THIRD Alternate jersey? NICE!

Current Seahawks WR Mike Williams voiced his pleasure as well a short while ago.

This year, the Seahawks are one of two teams expected to change their logos as well.

For those of you that were possibly watching the NFL network this week you may have caught it.

A Seahawks logo featuring what appeared to be a gray lower stripe behind the bird's head appeared on two recent segments.

It begs the question did the NFL network give an unofficial glimpse of the Seahawks' new logo?

Check back with the NWSB on Tuesday.

Here's the pic grabbed from the NFL Network.

Matt Flynn: Was he worth the risk?

Is Matt Flynn, now of the Seattle Seahawks, worth the 26 million-dollar contract with 10 million guaranteed? Or is it more likely that he will turn out to be what Kevin Kolb was to the Arizona Cardinals this year, a waste of money. Matt Flynn does have some very impressive credentials. In college he led

What a day it was for John Moffitt this week the sophmore right guard of the Seattle Seahawks. This week at the local Seattle Fox station Q13 FOX Moffitt tried his hand at broadcasting the weather with the help of Meteorologist M.J. McDermott. He did look a little out of place in front of the camera but that's to be expected of a 6'4" 319lb lineman isn't it? ...

Seahawks Offensive Depth Chart Breakdown

The Seahawks are off to a fairly predictable start this postseason with many moves that Pete Carroll and John Schneider hinted toward at the end of the 2011 season. The focus has been retaining the core group of players that Carroll refers to as “our guys.” Meaning guys that arrived after the Ruskell era, or in Red Bryant’s case, in a position that Carroll placed him into....

Dolphins weren’t convinced Matt Flynn is a franchise quarterback

According to Jeff Darlington of, a Miami Dolphins source told him that they only offered Matt Flynn $4 million per year because they weren’t convinced  he’s a franchise quarterback. The Seahawks ended up agreeing to pay Flynn $8 per season over three years. I believe the $8 million per year that the Seahawks agreed to pay Flynn, wasn’t a bad deal for either side....
