According to Jeff Duncan of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, the Superdome in New Orleans will be ready for Tulane's Saturday night game against Rutgers, and by extension, it will be ready for the regular season following hurricane Isaac.

Isaac wasn't expected to complicate the beginning of the Saints' home schedule on September 9th, it's never safe to write off such a possibility with a hurricane rolling through.

Jeff Duncan reported,

The stadium's roof, which was completely replaced in 2006 after Hurricane Katrina seriously damaged it in 2005, suffered no visible damage and there were no visible leaks in the building after a preliminary inspection Wednesday. Stadium officials still had not had time to conduct an exterior assessment because of dangerous weather conditions.

The Saints begin their season September 9th playing the Washington Redskins and Robert Griffin III at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. It now seems safe to say that the place will indeed be rockin' when the electric rookie comes to town (as if Saints fans needed a reason outside of their own team to be heard).
