It's WAY TOO EARLY to make predictions about match-ups right now, especially before the NFL Draft. No one knows what injury lists and mid-season pick-ups will look like. With all that being said, let's make some wild predictions:Week 1 Giants at Cowboys, Sunday, Sept. 8, 8:30 p.m. (NBC)The New York Giants lost to the Dallas Cowboys last opening week but this year will be different. Cowboys Stadium doesn't provide any home field advantage and I'm sure there will be a lot of distractions due to Tony Romo's large, new contract.Giants 1-0Week 2 Giants vs. Broncos, Sunday, Sept. 15, 4:25 p.m. (CBS)Another Manning brother match-up. Unfortunately for Giants fans, the Denver Broncos are a better team. Also, Peyton Manning already has the lead in this sibling rivalry, 2-0.Giants 1-1Week 3 Giants at Panthers, Sept. 22, 1 p.m. (FOX)Didn't the Giants just beat the Panthers mercilessly last season. The key players on both teams are still the same and I don't see the Panthers getting much better than the Giants in the draft.Giants 2-1Week 4 Giants at Chiefs, Sunday, Sept. 29, 1 p.m. (FOX)I'm not sure if my prediction needs much explanation. The Chiefs finally got a quarterback but they have much larger issues (even though they apparently have tons of pro-bowlers).Giants 3-1Week 5 Giants vs. Eagles, Sunday, Oct. 6, 1 p.m. (FOX)The Eagles will be a new team by this point in the season, and no one knows if that's for better or worse. I say that the Eagles may still have trouble getting their team chemistry together and they don't have enough key players.Giants 4-1Week 6, Giants at Bears, Thursday, Oct. 10, 8:25 p.m. (NFL Network)The Bears are a good team. Right now this looks like a toss-up but I'm sure the Bears defense will contain the Giants better than the Giants D will contain the Bears.Giants 4-2Week 7, Giants vs. Vikings, Monday, Oct. 21, 8:40 p.m. (ESPN)This match-up might really depend on how Adrian Peterson is feeling and how the Vikings draft this season. However, given their performances last season I have to say that the Giants have a better squad and should win.Giants 5-2Week 8 Giants at Eagles, Sunday, Oct. 27, 1 p.m. (FOX)The last time the Giants beat the Eagles twice in one season was the Super Bowl winning 2007 season. I can, under sound mind and body, state that the Giants are not going to be that good this season. I'm also sure the Eagles will be congruent by this point.Giants 5-3 Week 9 BYESelf explanatory.Giants 5-3Week 10 Giants vs. Raiders, Sunday, Nov. 10, 1 p.m. (CBS)Also self-explanatory.Giants 6-3Week 11 Giants vs. Packers, Sunday, Nov. 17, 8:30 p.m. (NBC)*The Giants facing a great team in the heart of November. The Giants are 13-20 under head coach Tom Coughlin in the month of November and I'm sure they'll lose their groove at this point of this season too.Giants 6-4Week 12 Giants vs. Cowboys, Sunday, Nov. 24, 4:25 p.m. (FOX)*I'm sorry, but they're still the Cowboys, no matter what month it is. My entire opinion of them is that Tony Romo needs to go before I'm afraid of this team. Actually, if it wasn't for some late-in-the-game mistakes by Romo, the Cowboys would have won the division last season.Giants 7-4Week 13, Giants at Redskins, Sunday, Dec. 1, 8:30 p.m. (NBC)*This really depends on Robert Griffin III's health. Who knows if he'll re-injure himself or get a new injury (with his style of playing, it's not unlikely). I respect the Redskins team and their home field advantage.Giants 7-5 Week 14 Giants at Chargers, Sunday, Dec. 8, 4:25 p.m. (FOX)*1) It's the San Diego Chargers. 2) The Giants will have to play their butts off to win the division at this point of the season (they're good in this scenario).Giants 8-5Week 15, Giants vs. Seahawks, Sunday Dec. 15, 1 p.m. (FOX)*The Seahawks are a dangerous team and I don't know if the Giants linebackers will be able to cover the Seahawks' offensive scheme. Also, their defense can be nasty at times as well.Giants 8-6Week 16 Giants at Lions, Sunday, Dec. 22, 4:05 p.m. (FOX)*I think the Lions got a lot better when they acquired running back Reggie Bush and I know they will go to the playoffs this season. This is a match-up that's mostly about how much better the Lions' D will get this off-season.Giants 9-6Week 17 Giants vs. Redskins, Sunday, Dec. 29, 1 p.m. (FOX)*Even with home-field advantage and the playoffs on the line (most likely), the Giants and Eli Manning are an experienced, veteran crew will be clutch. I'm putting the advantage to the Giants purely based off their ability to be clutch and their late-in-the-season history. I can call that this game will be a must win for the Giants right now.Giants 10-6* - indicates time is subject to change
