New York Giants
With OTA’s still underway, the New York Giants still have many question marks entering into the season. Failing to make the playoffs in 2012 and with a head scratching draft, GM Jerry Reese and Head Coach Tom Coughlin must put the pieces together and somehow find the right fit to have a successful season. With a very favorable schedule for 2013, the Giants seem to be off to a good start. However; this team needs to re-establish their identity that propelled them as Super Bowl Champions in 2011. I’m referring to solid defense and a productive well balanced offense. In 2012, the Giants struggled from both sides of the ball as their defense ranked 2nd to last in many categories and the offense displayed hot and cold moments throughout the season. I believe the New York Giants need to excel in three categories in order to make the playoffs. I believe that if any of the three does not occur, the Giants could miss the playoffs again. The following are my three most important factors to th...

Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz told the New York Daily News that he’s looking to land his own reality TV show. “It is going to be something that is very unique to me and very unique to what I like, and like to do,” Cruz said. “We are still fielding some requests, so we will see how it goes — the timing has to be right, and I have got to squeeze in some training in there...
According to Rotoworld.com, ESPN’s Ed Werder reported on NFL 32 that the New York Giants and wide receiver Victor Cruz are currently at a stalemate with their contract negotiations. “The issue here is that Cruz is one of the dominant slot receivers in football,” Werder explained. “But none of the slot receivers in the NFL rank among the top-salaried receivers. It’s all...
Organized Team Activities (OTAs) aren’t mandatory in the NFL. Most players attend, but every so often you run across a player or two who not only doesn’t attend but fails to communicate their absence, which leads to speculation around the league.
The New York Giants are finding themselves in that situation with their current wide receiver Hakeem Nicks. After informing the Giants...
The great thing about the NFL is that there are so many positions that every year, there is almost always at least one player who has a breakout year on every team, no matter how good or bad the team is. This is one part in a 32 part segment detailing one potential breakout player (rookies don’t count) for the 2013 NFL season on each NFL team. For the New York Giants, that player...
Giants WR Victor Cruz and his fiance, Elania Wately attended the premiere of Will Smith’s new film, “After Earth.” Cruz is still in contract negotiations with the Giants. It’s said that he’s considering lowering his asking price from $10-11 million a year to closer to $8 million a year. That’s the range the Giants last offer was in.

Last year, the New England Patriots claimed injured Tight End Jake Ballard off of waivers from the Giants, in a move that some people considered poor etiquette. Ballard had been injured, and needed to clear waivers in order to go to the Injured Reserve. But Bill Belichick stepped in and nabbed Ballard, then immediately stashed him away on season ending IR in order to keep his contract...
Hakeem Nicks has yet to report to organized team activities with the New York Giants this offseason, and he has not provided an acceptable excuse for his absence. In fact, head coach Tom Coughlin said Nicks has not given an excuse at all and that he expected him to be there. While the workouts are technically voluntary, Coughlin is [...]

According to ESPN’s Ed Werder via Rotoworld.com, running back David Wilson is expected to be the New York Giants lead back this coming season.
ESPN’s Ed Werder stated on NFL 32 Thursday that David Wilson will “absolutely” be the Giants’ lead runner in 2013.
Werder anticipates Wilson being the “feature back” for the G-Men. Expect the 2012 first-round pick’s Average...
It sounds like Victor Cruz is doing more than just having contract discussions with the New York Giants these days. The fleet-footed wideout — known as much for his end-zone salsa celebrations as he is for his pass routes — claims he is in talks to land his own reality television series as well.
Cruz told The New York Daily News he's discussing a project with TV executives...
The universe continues it’s cruel destruction of my youth’s biggest crushes. Lindsey Lohan, Amanda Bynes, and Tara Reid obviously weren’t enough because a picture of Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina The Teenage Witch) taken at a charity event this past weekend has surfaced.
Melissa was the epitome of the girl next door for many 90′s kids and she is looking quite homely in this...
The Giants have reached a stalemate in contract talks with wide receiver Victor Cruz. SOURCE: Ed Werder, ESPNFantasy Spin:Hopefully the two sides can work something out quickly so that Cruz doesn't have to miss training camp. Cruz has hauled in 19 touchdown catches over the last two seasons.
Giants head coach Tom Coughlin is not pleased by the fact that wide receiver Hakeem Nicks missed another OTA session without any explanation.
