Unlike wide receiver Hakeem Nicks, who didn't travel with the team, New York Giants safety Antrel Rolle (knee) was listed as questionable and expected to be a game-time decision. However, head coach Tom Coughlin informed ESPN's Sal Paolantonio on Saturday that the veteran would be active on Sunday night against the Philadelphia Eagles.

This news will come as no surprise to Defensive Coordinator Perry Fewell, who fully anticipated Rolle would play from the get-go.

"He never misses a thing," Fewell said. "[He'll play]. I don’t think there’s any question about it."

Rolle suffered his knee injury last Thursday night during a 36-7 victory over the Carolina Panthers when he inadvertently collided with a sideline camera. He was sent for an MRI earlier this week which came back clean, and the team described it as a knee bruise and cut. The cut did not require stitches.

As recently as Friday, Rolle was walking with a relatively significant limp, so perhaps the extra seven and a half hours of rest on Sunday will be beneficial to him.
