The New York Giants suffered a multitude of injuries at the wide receiver position last year, and it started with Domenik Hixon tearing his ACL in the off season and missed the entire 2010 season. He’s apparently signed a deal that takes him off the market as well as gives the Giants a much better option in the return game, which was a huge issue for them this past year. They traded for Darius Reynaud with the Sage Rosenfels deal to try and make up for the loss of Hixon, but despite his past successes he was a major disappointment. Which should come as a surprise that they signed Reynaud to a contract extension as well. This doesn’t necessarily mean Reynaud will make the team next year, especially since his deal is mainly full of incentives.
