Back in early April, the New York Giants were reportedly slated to host free agent running back Tim Hightower for a visit. That never happened and it was speculated that he may re-sign with the Washington Redskins. That didn’t happen either and now the five-year veteran will finally make his way to East Rutherford to meet with Big Blue on Wednesday. With David Wilson and Andre Brown already penciled in as the No. 1 and 2 backs respectively, the Giants appear to be seeking talented, quality depth to compete with Da’Rel Scott, Ryan Torain (Hightower’s former Redskins back-up), seventh-round pick Michael Cox and a number of other undrafted rookie free agents who have either been signed or invited in for a tryout. Because the Giants are openly seeking another running back, it has essentially left the door open for two familiar faces: Ahmad Bradshaw and Brandon Jacobs. However, neither back has met or talked with the Giants, and both appear to be moving on with their careers. Bradshaw ha...

David Diehl Sees New York Giants’ Selection of Justin Pugh as a Challenge

It may be unofficial and merely speculative as of right now, but the New York Giants depth chart currently lists Justin Pugh — not David Diehl — as the team’s starting right tackle. TMZ caught up with New York Giants quarterback David Carr and asked him if he believes Tim Tebow will play again in the NFL after being released by the Jets.
