TweetThe New York Giants give their fans an early scare against the Cleveland Browns. They were down 17-7 in the first quarter, I'm sure it had some fans wondering if the team was going to make this a close one.
No disrespect to the Browns but I personally wasn't nervous, just upset that New York found themselves down against what many consider to be the worst team in the NFL. As I keep stating every week, the Giants play down to their competition. It's just the Giants way it seems, this pattern has been displayed for 3-4 years now.
The good news is that Eli Manning, Victor Cruz and Ahmad Bradshaw took over. I have included the offensive stats below, Ahmad Bradshaw rushed for an unbelievable 200 yards. Cruz caught all 3 Eli Manning TD passes.
Other players stepped up, Randle caught 6 passes for 82 yards, Domenik Hixon had 5 receptions for 55 yards. There were offensive contributions from many players which helped in the comeback. The half time score was 27-17.
