Following a two-interception performance on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints that brought his team-leading total to seven, the NFL decided it was time to recognize the season New York Giants safety Stevie Brown is having. Accordingly, the third-year player out of Michigan has been added to the Pro Bowl ballot. Brown, who has started the last nine game for Big Blue, is also second in the league with his seven interceptions, trailing only Tim Jennings of the Chicago Bears who has eight. The 25-year-old Brown was originally drafted in the 7th round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the Oakland Raiders, where he compiled 30 tackles in 15 games during his rookie season. After being released, he spent a portion of the 2011 season with the Indianapolis Colts and then signed with the Giants in early April. In addition to his seven interceptions and franchise record 259 interception return yards, Brown also has 61 sacks, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, three stuffs and eight passes defended in 13 games this season.
