Found November 14, 2012 on Gridiron Grit:
The New York Jets have placed defensive back Isaiah Trufant on injured reserve with a left knee injury and waived linebacker Aaron Maybin, announced by the team Tuesday evening. Trufant was originally signed to the Jets practice squad in 2010, before joining the club’s active roster later that season. He was waived prior to the AFC Championship Game and was claimed by the Philadelphia Eagles. After his release from the Eagles in 2011, Trufant signed with the Jets and appeared in the final preseason game before he joined the Jets’ practice squad and then signed to the active roster for the 2011 season. The 5-8, 170-pound corner has seen action in 23 regular season games, mostly on special teams, and recorded up 21 special teams tackles.  Trufant’s only start as a Jet came against the New England Patriots on Oct. 21, where he registered six tackles, including two for a loss. Tomlinson outs anonymous Jets?

LaDainian Tomlinson said Wednesday that he thinks he knows the identities of at least two of the Jets players who anonymously savaged Tim Tebow.

Jets running back Shonn Greene wants Tebow

On Wednesday, members of the New York Jets locker room semi-shocked the world with their shots against backup quarterback Tim Tebow. Per a report from CNN’s Sports Illustrated, New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan thinks the player(s) who called Tim Tebow “terrible” are “a cowardly thing.”  Ryans comments are in response to an earlier report of over a dozen Jets players and members of the organization anonymously criticizing Tebow. Ryan is absolutely right; if you want to call Tebow terrible, be like the...

Matt Slauson: Real American Hero

Hyperbolic headline aside, Matt Slauson isn’t actually a hero. In fact, after the dirty block that he put on Brian Cushing that ended the Texans linebacker’s season earlier this year, he might actually be an asshole. However, I nominate Matt Slauson for BESTEST JERKYFACE EVER for being the one teammate willing to go on the record bashing Tim Tebow to the New York Daily News....

Column: If not now, when is 'Tebow Time?'

(Eds: Corrects Keller's first name to Dustin in seventh paragraph. With AP Photos.) By JIM LITKE AP Sports Columnist Jets coach Rex Ryan is so competitive that he'd play Satan at quarterback if he was convinced the move would help his team win. But for some reason, he's drawn the line at Tim Tebow. On any other team, with any other backup waiting in the wings, there...
