TEAMS: New York Jets, St. Louis Rams
TEAMS: New York Jets, St. Louis Rams
Neither the Jets nor the Rams have been impressive of late. It’s been over a month since either team has earned a win. On paper, both teams leave a lot to be desired but there are few factors that will sway the odds in the Rams’ favor when New York travels to St. Louis. Here are my three bold predictions for the game.1. The Jets’ will help St. Louis get an easy win.On the stat page, these teams are not very far apart. Neither has a distinct advantage in total offense, total defense, penalties, or turnover ratio. Distractions, momentum, and team chemistry will be the difference. Count on the Jet’s shooting themselves in the foot in one way or another. Sunday will be a perfect example of how heavily things you can’t read on the stat page can impact a game. While a tie isn’t exactly an impressive feat, when you consider the Rams got it on the road against San Francisco, it’s at least something to build on. The Jets on the other hand, have nothing but distractions and internal issues to ...

Teammate Matt Slauson calls Tebow “terrible”
The days of “All He Does Is Win” may be over for Tim Tebow, at the least his time in New York may be over after left guard Matt Slauson did not hide his evaluation of the quarterback’s practice performance and overall ability this season by bluntly stating “He’s terrible. ” Apparently inside runs for two and three yards during games, inaccurate throws during practices...

The New York Post, much like SportsCenter, has a fascination with Tim Tebow. New York Jets: Tim Tebow Will Start At Quarterback By Week 14

Mark Sanchez Versus Tim Tebow
Tebow Time?
Since the trade for Tim Tebow and the pictures of him running shirtless in the rain at practice, the talk about the two time college National Champion has faded. As the 3-6 Jets head to St. Louis to face the Rams this week, the reports from New York have informed the public that multiple players on the Jets team have ripped Tim Tebow and openly said they feel like Mark...
Tim Tebow debate is now invading ESPN college basketball games
When I first heard that ESPN announcers were debating Tim Tebow starting for the New York Jets during yesterday's Butler-Xavier game, I was ready to man my battle stations and prepare for full fledged attack mode. But, ESPN's Bob Wischusen and Dan Dakich are actually poking fun at their own network's TebowMania obsession in the latter stages of a blowout game. Wischusen...

With the news coming out of New York this week regarding Tim Tebow and how his own teammates feel about him got me thinking about another quarterback that never amounted to anything.Ryan Leaf was a quarterback drafted in 1998 that many believed would be the next great one. He was drafted second overall behind Peyton Manning in that draft. It was a long debate on which QB should...

New York Jets offensive lineman Matt Slausen was the only Jets’ player to openly criticize quarterback Tim Tebow.
