Report: Jets complained about Pats' offense

The game hasn’t even started, and the New York Jets are already complaining to the league offices about the style of offense that the New England Patriots are running this season. It’s been a different type of hurry-up in which the offense uses just one word to call the play.
That one word controls all eleven players on the field, from the routes the Receivers are to run to the protection scheme the Offensive Lineman will execute. It worked wonders against the Denver Broncos, as the Pats ran 89 plays and set a new record for most first downs in a game with 35.

It’s been fun to watch, but the Jets aren’t happy about it (likely knowing that they can’t beat it) and they have taken to the league to get it taken care of. 
“We have already talked to the league office and Rex (Ryan) will be in the ref’s ear about this all game,” a member of the Jets’ coaching staff told ESPN.
To be a fair, the Jets are worried they aren’t going to be able to get substitutions in, which the Broncos had no problem with.
A big positive for offenses, is the no-huddle gets the defense gassed, and it creates mis-matches for big tired guys going up against the energized offense. But the Jets are worried they can’t get fresh defenders in.
The complaint to the league comes just days after LB Calvin Pace said that the offense was “borderline illegal”.
If the offense was illegal, the NFL would put a stop to it. There is nothing wrong with it. As Herm Edwards famously told us, “You play to win the game!” and that’s exactly what the Patriots have designed
