TEAMS: New York Jets, Houston Texans, Arizona Cardinals, Stanford Cardinal, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets
My, what a wild year it has been in Jets land (what else is new?). After a strong showing at opening day at MetLife Stadium back in September, when the Jets romped the Bills 48-28 to begin the 2012 season (Yes, that game actually occurred in the same season as this), the New York Jets have progressively fallen far from grace. In week 2 the Jets went into Pittsburgh without their All-World defensive back, Darrelle Revis, and despite coming out strong on the opening drive, ultimately fell to the Steelers at Heinz Field 27-10. Since then, New York hasn’t mustered up one convincing win, while being blown out 3 times at home. Although the Jets have had to deal with injuries to two essential players (Revis and Wide Receiver Santonio Holmes), this team’s total lack of depth and talent has put their fans in an uproar, and rightfully so. Sure, the Jets held their own against two of the AFC’s top teams when they hosted the Houston Texans in week 5 and when they took the Patriots to overtime i...

Mark Sanchez says he was stunned by butt-fumble
Today, New York jets quarterback Mark Sanchez was asked about last week’s butt-fumble and said he was stunned when it happened.
“I guess (I was) more stunned than anything,” Sanchez told the Associated Press Wednesday, via NFL.com. “Just like a car accident. I was like, ‘Whoa. What just happened?’ Then, the ball’s gone. It was weird.”
You have to give Sanchez credit...
KEEPING THE FAITH
Namath still believes in Sanchez

Mark Sanchez on 4-7 Jets: We love our playoff chances
The New York Jets all but eliminated themselves from the playoff picture with their most embarrassing loss of the season to the New England Patriots last Thursday. Currently sitting at 4-7, New York would have to win out and get some help in order to sneak in and grab one of the AFC’s wild card spots. Mark Sanchez sees no reason that can’t happen.
“We feel great. We love...
Mark Sanchez: “Love our chances”
Oh boy. It seems that New York Jets QB Mark Sanchez has been dipping into the Kool-Aid that his head coach enjoys. It must also be spiked with some something pretty strong. The Jets currently stand at 4-7 and the cusp of futility, and a major offseason shake-up anticipated. There are zero glimmers of hope [...]

Mark Sanchez Improving, According To Jets QB Coach
There are some experts out there who believe in Mark Sanchez -- namely, his own quarterbacks coach.
"I'm generally pleased. He's still developing, but it's hard to ask for patience when you're 4-7, but I think with a young quarterback whose got talent, you've got to be patient," Matt Cavanaugh said, via The Star-Ledger's Mike Vorkunov.
It may...
New York Jets must get Alex Smith
The flash in the NFL pan that’s been the Rex Ryan-era New York Jets was finally doused Thanksgiving night thanks to the New England Patriots. Losing to the dominant division foe from up north is one thing, but losing like the way the J-E-T-S Jets-Jets-Jets did is flat-out embarrassing. The fallout has been spectacular. Fan number one Fireman Ed has resigned, the boos have been...
Mark Sanchez finally addresses the Brandon Moore butt incident
New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez couldn't dodge speaking out on this incident forever. He also couldn't dodge guard Brandon Moore's buttocks on that fateful day at MetLife stadium when he was tackled by his teammate's rear causing a fumble that was then returned for a touchdown by the Patriots. This, of course, is one of the most embarrassing plays imaginable...

Things may be terrible for the Arizona Cardinals, but Mark Sanchez and the New York Jets are the butt of jokes nationally.
Coach Rex Ryan still thinks his beleaguered team has a chance at the playoffs.

NFL Week 13 Preview: Arizona Cardinals at New York Jets
The New York Jets (4-7) might feel down after the drubbing they took on Thanksgiving but they’re entering the ultimate rebound game. The Arizona Cardinals (4-7) come to town and they have lost seven games in a row entering this weekend.
The Jets got a bit of help as the Steelers lost and they are only two games behind Pittsburgh; however, the Steelers own the head-to-head tiebreaker...
Jets Offensive Line Coach Rages at the Media
When it comes to the United State, New York tends to the center of attention. When it comes to the NFL, the Jets, infamously, have become the new center of attention of the league. One not close to football might wonder, “Why are the 4-7 New York Jets, who have lost four of their last five games the head team that the national media wants to talk about?”
On top of having the...
