Found May 17, 2012 on The Football Fan Spot:
I wouldn’t recommend drafting Mark Sanchez because he could easily lose his job to Tim Tebow midseason and I wouldn’t recommend picking up Tebow until he’s actually starting. RB Shonn Greene (NY Jets) The Jets didn’t add another back until the 6th round this year, even though they lost LaDainian Tomlinson, who was their #2 back. Some take this as a sign that they believe in Greene’s ability to take the next step as a back, but I take it as more of a sign of confidence for Joe McKnight than anything. Remember, this team had a lot of interest in moving up for Trent Richardson, which would have made Greene the #2 back. Greene should have similar production to last year, maybe a little better if Tebow takes over as the starting quarterback and forces front 7s to focus on his ability to run the ball as well. Just ask Willis McGahee how valuable that is. Tebow would probably vulture some touchdowns though, but Mark Sanchez could too. He scored 6 times last year on the ground. Projection: ...

Darrelle Revis praises Tim Tebow

The Jets CB gushed over his new teammate, saying about Tebow's "passion within": "You see it all the time, eating lunch, walking down the hallway."

Tebow shirt designers not backing down

Earlier in the week, a shirt from Cubby Tees showing a modified Jets logo that read "My Jesus" hit the blogosphere. The shirt was the center of a controversy in which Tim Tebow, or more likely his lawyers without Tebow's direct action, sent the designers a cease and desist letter instructing them to stop making the shirt. I understand that Tebow is the inspiration...

Does the New York Media have a Love Affair with Tim Tebow and Vendetta Against Mark Sanchez?

Uh oh… I’m starting to see a pattern here.  There is a love affair with Tim Tebow.  But wait Erik, we already knew that, that’s why everyone is Tebowing and he’s the most popular player in the NFL you say…. No, I’m talking about the New York Media, at least for one beat writer.  Manish Mehta put out an article yesterday quoting Jets’ QB coach Matt Cavanaugh being...

Revis, the outspoken New York Jets cornerback, said he can see by the way Tebow approaches even the most menial of tasks it shows that he has natural leadership skills. "Some people have...

Steve Weatherford backtracks from his comments regarding Mark Sanchez

Former Jets and current Giants punter Steve Weatherford said that Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez hasn’t matured as a quarterback the way people would have thought. Weatherford backtracked via Twitter in an attempt to clear up what he was trying to say. I think @mark_sanchez knows the truth. I would never “RIP” a former teammate.Marks a great competitor and close friend This...

Namath: Sanchez is "much better" than Tim Tebow

Joe Namath has made a point of making controversial comments and doing questionable things. Most famous of those "things" I speak of came when Namath attempted to put his moves on sideline reporter Suzy Kolber. For a trip down memory lane, I included the video below. That incident, however comical it may be, is not the topic today. Namath is now describing Mark Sanchez...

Many tried to insinuate that he wouldn't be accepted by the majority of players when the deal went down, but from all accounts that couldn't be further from the truth. Darrelle Revis has called Tim Tebow a "born leader...
