Darrelle RevisA win, is indeed a win, and victories are so very hard to come by in the National Football League.  The New York Jets have played three regular season games, and have two of those precious W’s to show for their efforts.  I wonder if it’s only coincidence, and not a sign of things to come, that Darrelle Revis started at cornerback in both victories, and was sidelined with concussion-related symptoms for the team’s only loss.  The Jets will need to ignore this trend and persevere without their all-world CB and defensive star, as it was reported Monday that he will indeed miss the remainder of the 2012 NFL season with a torn ACL in his left knee.  With a non-contact injury suffered during the third quarter of yesterday’s 23-20 overtime win against the Miami Dolphins, everyone’s worst fears were realized with the announcement by head coach Rex Ryan.  Rex did remind us all, that no one player will be able to replace the contribution of a Darrelle Revis, “it will take all 53…,” and he’s right.

On the Monday following the previous day’s overtime victory over the Miami Dolphins, the New York Jets announced that cornerback Darrelle Revis would likely miss the entire season due to a torn right ACL injury. Jets problems mounting, Revis lost for the season

It was only a concussion that kept Darelle Revis out of action last week, but going forward for the New York Jets it’s much more serious. Revis is out for the remainder of the season. Reggie Bush: Jets deserved Revis injury

In the days leading up to last Sunday’s tilt between the Jets and Dolphins, Rex Ryan raised a few eyebrows — even more than usual — when he stated the team needed to put some “hot sauce” on Miami running back Reggie Bush. Nothing really was made of it, though Ryan seemingly accomplished his goal, as his defense turned up the Tabasco and knocked Bush out of action during...
