Found January 18, 2012 on Turn On the Jets:
I wouldn’t bank on Peyton Manning coming through that door, New York Jets fans. What I would bank on is General Manager Mike Tannenbaum doing everything in his power this off-season to prevent his franchise quarterback, Mark Sanchez, breaking in his make or break year. The last thing Tannenbaum and this organization want to do is be forced to concede after this season that trading up for Sanchez was a mistake and then undergo the task of finding another quarterback to build around. The main priority for this off-season will be adding as much around Sanchez on offense as possible to help him have a productive season. The hiring of Tony Sparano brings back the mentality of running the football along with a needed emphasis on protecting the quarterback. There is no way the Jets are sending Sanchez out there for another season with Wayne Hunter as a starter. Finding a competent starting right tackle is the first order of business this off-season. The free agent list isn’t cr...

Eli Manning Says it Would be ‘Interesting’ to Have Peyton Playing in New York

New York is slowly becoming Eli Manning’s city when it comes to football. Eli Manning: Rethinking The NFL Quarterback Hierarchy

Brought to you by (Joe Montana's Right Arm) While it might be a bit premature to start readjusting our collective thought process regarding the NFL quarterback food chain since Super Bowl XLVI is still three Sundays away, Eli Manning’s win in Green Bay yesterday begs some sort of discussion about who is elite and who is not. During the offseason, Manning suggested...

Eli Can Climb Another Rung This Sunday

Eli Manning's season started with a debate about whether or not he was an elite quarterback and it might end with another debate. Rob Lowe Says Peyton Manning is Retiring..Yes that Rob Lowe

One of the great things about Twitter is it gives everyone voice. I can get a message out to 100k people (when you include RTs) literally in seconds. With that being said, Twitter has allowed people who normally wouldn’t be consider professionals in certain areas influence opinions and sometimes spread crazy rumors. A lot of times that is someone’s death, but in this...

Fun With Extrapolation: Quarterback Edition

So what I did here was extrapolate how many fantasy points quarterbacks would have if they started all 16 games. To make this list you either have to have played 8+ games or have been drafted in fantasy leagues in the top 24 QBs which really is only Peyton Manning and Donovan McNabb. So unfortunately I didn’t add Matt Flynn but if I had he would have averaged 44 fantasy points...

Rob Lowe breaks the news that Peyton Manning is retiring. Wait, what?

Wait, Rob Lowe the actor is breaking the biggest story the NFL has seen since Brett Favre's eight retirements before Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen? Something's a little fishy here. Oh, that's right, Lowe has a Lifetime movie debuting this weekend. Breaking this story would LITERALLY be the most diabolical marketing scheme to generate buzz. I'm on to you...
