The Tampa Bay business journal released it’s list for the top 25 highest paid athletes in Tampa Bay. It should come as no surprise that Darrelle Revis is on top of the list after signing his six-year, $96 million contract that has him earning a base yearly salary of $13 million. The other newcomer, Dashon Goldson, also made the list with his five-year, $41.25 million contract. He ranks sixth on the list for 2013 at $9 million. There are 11 Buccaneers on the list including Gerald McCoy, Josh Freeman, and Vincent Jackson. The other 14 names include Rays and Lightning Players. Here are the top five: 1. Darrell Revis – Salary: $13 million Current Contract: Six years, $96 million 2. Gerald McCoy – Salary: $10.92 million Current Contract: Five years, $63.44 million 3. David Price – Salary: $10.11 million Current Contract: One year, $10.11 million 4. Vincent Lecavalier – Salary: $10 million Current Contract: 11 years, $85 million 5.
