With only two-fifths of the normal offensive line ahead of the team’s QBs last Friday night, news came out yesterday that Alan Faneca, the team’s starting Left Guard will likely be held out for the remainder of the preaseason games, because he had surgery on his broken finger. Add in Damien Woody who’s still recovering from a concussion (I’m glad they’re holding him back as much as they are) and Nick Mangold with a knee injury, and it looks like the same line will be suiting up come next Monday night. Pro Bowl LG Alan Faneca underwent surgery to repair the broken middle finger on his left hand and he definitely won’t play this week against the Ravens, according to Rex Ryan. The coach hinted that Faneca could miss the last three games, but he was confident that the senior member of the offensive line will be ready for the regular-season opener in Houston.Faneca was replaced Friday night by Stanley Daniels, but Daniels wasn’t at practice this...
