The New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles have had one of the longest standing feuds in the NFC East for quite some time now. Being so close in location with such passionate fans makes for a great rivalry. So when they take each other on in a huge divisional battle on Sunday Night Football, there is already plenty of animosity.
Throw in a pair of players who absolutely loathe each other as well as replacement referees who cannot control any contest, and this one has all the makings.
It is no secret that Giants DE Osi Umenyiora and Eagles RB Lesean McCoy flat out can’t stand each other. That is actually putting it mildly. While many players do not care for each other while they are on the field, they have nothing to do with each other off of the gridiron.
But when it comes to Umenyiora and McCoy, these two get into as many wars with words as they do games.
Perhaps, even more so.
