Denver-broncos-rookie
The NFL schedule makers got it right this year showcasing two games with great meaning for the post season. Tim Tebow and the Broncos face off against former starting quarterback Kyle Orton and the Chiefs. The Raiders are hoping to extend their three game winning streak against their arch rival Chargers. There has not been an AFC West showdown in week 17 quite like this since 2008. In 2008, the Broncos were 8-7 and the Chargers were 7-8 and playing each other in week 17. Quarterbacks Philip Rivers and Jay Cutler made it known that they disliked each other. Earlier in the 2008 season referee Ed Hochuli inadvertently blew his whistle on a Cutler fumble that he ruled an incompletion setting the stage for the week 17 showdown. In 2011, if the (8-7) Broncos win, they’re in the playoffs. If the Broncos lose, the (8-7) Raiders must win to win the division. Chargers and Chiefs can only play spoilers to their hated division rivals. The Broncos have not made the playoffs since 2005. The Rai...

Tebow fined by teammates for billboard

Remember the billboard that went up in Denver telling coach John Fox to bench Kyle Orton and play Tim Tebow at quarterback? It apparently cost Tim Tebow money. NFL.com’s Jeff Darlington says the Broncos quarterbacks have a fines system going, and sources told him Tebow was docked money every day that the billboard was up. He apparently was fined for not speaking out against...

Tim Tebow Was Fined by Kyle Orton, Broncos Quarterbacks for Pro-Tebow Billboard in Denver

Is there still time to jam another Tim Tebow story down your throats before 2011 ends? OK, good. That uncomfortable silence on Sunday will be Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow and Chiefs quarterback Kyle Orton not discussing that little matter from earlier this season, for which Tebow reportedly still owes Orton money. Tebow, in one of those weird kangaroo-court rulings that only seem...

Broncos quarterbacks fined Tebow over billboard incident

By all accounts, Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow behaves like a perfect gentleman, and the ideal teammate.  But before he became the starting quarterback in Denver, his reaction — or, more accurately, his lack thereof — to the placement of a billboard lobbying for him to become the starting quarterback prompted a definite response from the…

Before the whole Tim Tebow saga began in Denver they had a quarterback...

Broncos To Keep QB Tim Tebow As Their Starter In 2012

For as often as questions have surfaced throughout the season regarding the perceived lack of support for Tim Tebow from head executive John Elway and head coach John Fox, there's also no denying these relationships have all strengthened over the past two months even in the wake of the most recent pair of losses. "When the guy isn't the starter, you don't get to...

Much has been made of any "inside" information that former Broncos quarterback Kyle Orton can give to his Kansas City teammates during preparation for Sunday's game.

Tim Tebow's Failure Won't Be John Elway's Problem

John Elway is saying all the right things. Last week, Elway declared that Broncos QB Tim Tebow "isn't going anywhere," while cleverly leaving out any mention of Tebow actually being the team's starter. Elway has had to walk a fine line all season long, making sure that Tebow lovers feel like their hero has gotten a fair shake from the organization, while maintaining...

Floyd Mayweather Jr. Bet $1 Million Against Tim Tebow

Two weeks ago, the New England Patriots walked all over the Denver Broncos in a 41-23 win. More importantly, Mayweather got rich—well, richer. The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that Mayweather had $1 million on the Patriots. The director of the Cantor Gaming sports book at the M Resort, Mike Colbert, refused to confirm or deny the report, but...
