Schefter notes that Newton did not play in a pro-style offense at Auburn and missed valuable offseason workouts due to the lockout. Still, Newton has been working with former NFL quarterback Ken Dorsey and getting comfortable in his new playbook.First-round pick Jake Locker has been working out with former Jets quarterback Ken O'Brien this offseason. O'Brien, now a quarterback tutor, has liked what he's seen. "The big thing about Jake is he is a competitor. When the chips are down, he is not looking around," O'Brien said.
