CBS has to be loving the fact that they get a rematch between the Tim Tebow led Denver Broncos against the New England Patriots this evening. When these two teams met over a month ago, over 40 million viewers tuned in and over 1 billion, yes, billion with a “B” was wagered on the regular season contest between these two teams. This contest could become the most viewed non-Super Bowl playoff game in history when CBS rolls this contest out during primetime.
The hype around this game is huge. Tim Tebow has grown into such a phenomenon at the end of this season as he strung together a series of improbable wins but I believe the run comes to an end tonight. The Patriots have lost their last three playoff games, but this is the 14th playoff game in the last 18 seasons for the Patriots and entering into this game, they have posted a 11-2 record.
