Several quarterbacks saw their stock plummet down the draft board in the 2013 NFL Draft. Several prospects went undrafted, but weren’t without work for very long. Kansas State quarterback Colin Klien told reporters that his phone started ringing shortly after the draft ended and after discussing matters with his family and agent, he decided on the Houston Texans.
Klien, six-foor-five, was thought to be a player that might have to change positions in order to continue his football career. Several pundits suggested that he could convert to running back given his mobility. Klien told reporters that the Texans will utilize him at the quarterback position. Several pundits compared Klien to a Tim Tebow-like player at the position.
Klien confirmed the move on his Twitter account, posting “I am so excited and honored to be given a chance to compete for the Houston Texans! #Godidgood #gotowork.”
This is a low risk move for the Texans. Klien does not have to step in right away and hit the fie...
