Denver started off the season right by beating the same team they defeated in last season’s wild card round in the Pittsburgh Steelers. After a pair of six point losses to two undefeated team – the Atlanta Falcons and Houston Texans – the Broncos came out an annihilated the Raiders last week. Considering their only two losses have been close ones to two out of the three ...

Peyton Manning Could Put Patriots Supporters in Strange Position of Sympathy as He Returns to NFL in Lesser Form

This Sunday, Peyton Manning returns to Gillette Stadium. It's a place that hasn't been kind to him, against a team that's been even less kind. In Manning's resume of greatness, he could have the wins, the completion records, the touchdown throws. But the Patriots would take the big wins, the titles -- and his heart. Gillette was the home of Ty Law, whose telepathy...

Elway endorses Romney, Ryan

About every four years, sports heroes and politicians get awfully chummy. No matter which team or party you support, it's always interesting to see who endorses what party and why. This week, NFL legend John Elway announced his support of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan, according to a press release on Romney's Website. "Governor Romney is a proven leader with the experience...

Peyton's wife to own share of Grizz

NFL quarterback Peyton Manning is supporting wife Ashley's move to join the group of minority owners being assembled by prospective owner Robert J. This is certainly an interesting investment for Manning, since small market NBA owners have had a hard time making a profit. h/t Black...

NFL Week 5 Picks Split Over Patriots-Broncos, Expect Jets to Continue Falling Hard (Podcast)

The Patriots and Jets may be technically tied atop the AFC East with identical 2-2 records, but that's about where the similarities end. While the Patriots are coming off of a convincing come-from-behind win in Buffalo last week, the Jets are coming off of a beatdown at the hands of the 49ers. Both teams face big games again this week with New England hosting Peyton Manning and...
