TEAMS: Chicago Bears, Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans, Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay Packers
While the Chicago Bears may be 3-1 and tied for first in their division, I’m not ready to call them the best in the NFC North yet. COming off a blowout win on Monday Night Football against the Dallas Cowboys there is plenty of reason for optimism, but also for doubt as well.
Now I can’t be too harsh on the Bears offense, as their top RB Matt Forte has been dealing with an ankle injury. Forte came back on Monday, and while he didn’t look as explosive as his usual self, he still did enough to make this Bears offense versatile. Through 4 games Jay Cutler has been good and bad at times, with some controversy along the way. While I still don’t believe Cutler has proved himself as an elite QB, who you can rely upon to win the big games, I have never denied his arm strength or toughness. Behind an offensive line that seems to allow pressure on every play. It is that same O-line that Cutler has a problem with, after shoving J’Marcus Webb on national television. The best player on this team...

MNF: There’s No Defense For A Bad Offense…Unless You’re The Bears
For at least one night, Cutler was not the focus nor his offfensive lineman-slapping ways. The Chicago Bears defense was front and center on this night, creating 5 turnovers and was leading their team in scoring up until the last major Bears drive of the night which, of course, was started by an interception. Bears Offense 20, Bears Defense 14. Overall, neither team ever really...

Chicago Bears Report Card: Week 4 at Dallas Cowboys
After looking lethargic in a 23-6 win over the St. Louis Rams in Week 3, the Chicago Bears had six days to hear criticism on whether or not they can notch a win over a quality team.Monday night the Bears answered the question by waltzing into Cowboys Stadium and throttling the Dallas Cowboys 34-18, to improve to 3-1 on the season. The offense needed a half to get going, but the defense...
Chicago Bears Demoralize Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football
Monday night in "Big D" proved to be rather unpleasant for the host Dallas Cowboys as they welcomed in the NFC North's Chicago Bears. Should the Jets Already Be Eyeing Top QB Prospects?
Yes, the New York Jets are technically on top of the AFC East standings thanks to winning both of their divisional games thus far.
There probably hasn’t been a team in too long, however, that was as inept offensively while in first place. As was the case with the Chicago Bears last season when Jay Cutler went down with injury, it seems like the Jets are destined to fall to the...
