Finally a source you can trust!

Mike Adams reports on his own twitter account that he is headed to the airport to visit the Denver Broncos.

As he says, “unfortunately” he obviously wants to be back in Cleveland. Adams just finished up a three-year $4.1 million deal with the Browns as he heads into his 30s. Mike Adams has proven to be a valuable asset because of his versatility rotating between safety and cornerback. That being said, he isn’t the kind of guy you can spend too much money on.

More importantly, the Browns need to get 28-year-old Dimitri Patterson back first.

DB Mike Adams signs with Denver- not offered a contract by Browns

The Denver Broncos have signed former Browns CB/S Mike Adams according to reports, and by Adams himself via his twitter account- “clev didnt offer a contract for me 2 stay, so now im a Bronco. I went hard every play 4 u clev! I will miss that locker room, and the fans!” Adams reportedly had other visits scheduled, but Denver couldn’t let the veteran leave without a deal....

Broncos agree to terms with safety Mike Adams

Now that Mike Adams is committed to the Denver Broncos, the veteran safety hopes another big-name free agent jumps on board as well. And no, it's not Peyton Manning. Adams is eager to have the Broncos bring back perennial Pro Bowler Brian Dawkins, who is still undecided on whether he will return for a 17th season or call it a career. The 38-year-old free agent missed most of...

NFL Free Agency: Peyton Hillis got paid… a little bit

When Mike Holmgren stated that sometimes it is good for both sides to have a fresh start, he really meant it. Right or wrong, there should be no question going forward just how little the Browns wanted Peyton Hillis back. The Chiefs got themselves a really good speculative bargain in their reported 1-year $3 million deal. Per a source with knowledge of the contracts, Hillis receives...

Pashos released by Browns following surgery

The statements rolled onto Tony Pashos Twitter page, thank you after thank you, all directed to Cleveland Browns fans who obviously were telling him how much they admired the right tackle and his efforts in a difficult 2011 season. Pashos explained Monday evening why he risked the health and well-being of his ankle by playing the season with a ruptured tendon in his foot. That led...

Cleveland Browns sign Frostee Rucker

Adam Schefter from ESPN has a report on twitter that the Cleveland Browns have signed Frostee Rucker. The former defensive end of the Cincinnati Bengals has a reported new contract worth 21 million with 8 million guaranteed. The 20 million number will scare people but the real money is the 8 million which isn't too much for an average pass rusher in the NFL. The hope for the...

For Browns QB spot, desire can’t create opportunity

Regardless of how exactly the process went down this past weekend, the Browns missed their man. What isn’t in question is that the Browns wanted RG3 on the team and he will not be. So like any good co-dependent fanbase, we scour the earth to figure out who we can count on to be the quarterback to take the Browns to the Super Bowl. When one door closes another one opens. Usually...

Peyton Manning Watch enters Day 7 — Denver Broncos remain patient

John Elway, Peyton Manning and John Fox tour Dove Valley. (AP Photo/John Leyba) As Manning Watch approaches seemingly unendurable Day Seven, there’s one thing to note — the Denver Broncos, the first serious potential suitors of Peyton Manning, remain patient. They aren’t pestering the future Hall of Famer. They aren’t calling him or his agent every time Manning gets on a...

Ex-Broncos QB wouldn't mind if No. 18 reissued

The only player to ever wear No. 18 for the Denver Broncos wants to make the jersey available again for Peyton Manning. Maybe that will entice the four-time MVP to the Mile High City. Frank Tripucka wore that number for three seasons in the 1960s, when he was the first quarterback in club history. After his tenure, the number was ceremonially retired. But Tripucka is just fine...

Eddie Royal will visit Chargers

Denver Broncos WR Eddie Royal made Monday Night Football history against the Chargers in 2009. (REUTERS/Fred Greaves) Wide receiver Eddie Royal did NOT sign with the Washington Redskins as we reported on Tuesday and is still making the free agent rounds. In fact, he’ll be talking to a trip to the Broncos’ AFC West rival San Diego Chargers. Naturally we decided to dig up pictorial...
