One of the most talented tight ends in this year’s group of free agents wasted little time this free agency period to join another team, and it’s led by a familiar face. Cook, a member of the Tennessee Titans has joined his former head coach Jeff Fisher and the St. Louis Rams. He is considered a highly athletic tight end that was underutilized as a member of the Titans.
Although there has been no outline of the money aspects of his new deal, Cook will get a five-year deal from the Rams. Cook was rumored to be on the radar by the Miami Dolphins and the Chicago Bears. The Bears inked a deal with former New York Giants TE Martellus Bennett. Reports suggest that Cook could receive the most money of all the tight end free agents this year.
