While the Tampa Bay Buccaneers remain silent in free agency about addressing their needs at the cornerback position, the team did make a move to add a defensive lineman on Saturday. NFL Network’s Michelle Bisner reported Saturday night that Tampa added former Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Derek Landri to the team. Bisner reports the deal is for two years and worth $3.25 million. The need for some depth on the defensive line became an issue for the Buccaneers after they allowed DT Roy Miller to leave via free agency. Miller joined the Jacksonville Jaguars. Miller helped to anchor a defensive line that led the NFL in run defense in 2013. Landi is entering his seventy year in the NFL and the Buccaneers will be the fourth team he has played for. Originally drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars, he spent one season in Carolina and the last two years with the Philadelphia Eagles.
