NFL free agency is no longer running at a rabid pace. We are now into the meat-and-potatoes part of the show where some of the most important deals of the year are made. Let’s see whose phone is still ringing.
Quarterback: Kevin Kolb
Wow. Ok. How do you say this with a straight face?
Kevin Kolb is the best available quarterback in the NFL.
On Monday that distinction would have belonged to veterans such as Matt Hasselbeck and/or Ryan Fitzpatrick but they signed with the Colts and Titans.
As for Kolb, he is a injury magnet that is capable when he has protection.
His big arm is his greatest asset.
That in itself is likely to earn him another team such as the New York Jets.
