Over a decade ago Arizona Cardinals safety Pat Tillman sacrificed his NFL career to join the Army Rangers following the attacks of 9/11, and now, following the tragedy that unfolded at the Boston Marathon this past Monday, current NFL hopeful Brandon O’Brien is giving up his shot at playing football to re-enlist with the Marines. O’Brien, a wide receiver at Montana State Northern University, previously served four years in the military before joining the Frontier Conference school. The 30-year-old was a huge longshot to even make the NFL at his age, but still kept his dream alive by training with Athletes Performance Institute. All that changed following the brutal attacks at the Boston Marathon. Feeling th...

Marcus Vick Wanted By Police Again, But Has Time To Tweet Kerry Rhodes is a “Fruit Tart”

Marcus Vick has missed like 200 court appearance and has had 200 arrest warrants issued for him, but somehow, someway, he has time Tweet. The cops just might give up at this point. Vick is in the news at the moment because, according to the Roanoke Times, he failed to appear for another court hearing in Montgomery County, Virginia, and a judge issued a warrant for his arrest...

Marcus Vick sends homophobic tweet about Arizona Cardinals

If ever there were a person who could have their Twitter rights legally stripped from them, it would be Marcus Vick. The younger brother of Michael Vick tweets out some of the most ridiculous things you will ever read, and his homophobic remark about the Arizona Cardinals earlier this week was a prime example. Those Arizona Cardinals got a brunch of Fruit Tarts on there team…....

Under Graham, Tillman legacy growing at ASU

TEMPE, Ariz. -- On Saturday, Arizona State football coach Todd Graham will start roughly 28,000 runners on their way in the 4.2 miles of the ninth annual Pat's Run, which honors former ASU linebacker Pat Tillman. Though Graham never met Tillman and has been in Tempe just one season, it seems fitting that he'll lead thousands of people in celebrating the life of ASU's...

Report: Players On NFL Team Knew Teammate Was Gay And Didn’t Care

In the midst of NFL defensive back Kerry Rhodes being publicly outed by a friend who says that the two were in fact lovers, the question again comes up about how does the NFL deal with an openly gay NFL player? Well according to Mike Freeman of CBSSports.com, one team didn’t think much of it at all.   According to Freeman’s report, players on a team were aware that one of...

Outing Safety Kerry Rhodes Just Isn’t Right

I really hate seeing people’s secrets exposed. It feels filthy. It feels like you snuck into their room and read their diary or grabbed their phone and went through it before it locked. I’m an only child so privacy is really important to me and I don’t like people in my spilling my tea. And that’s why I’ve felt so sad this week seeing the private photos of Kerry Rhodes...
