A two-time Pro Bowl safety, Adams joins the Panthers at age 36 after three seasons in Indianapolis. His new team hopes Adams can plug a leaky pass defense after totaling 12 interceptions in the last three seasons.

Staying healthy has been a major issue for Amukamara during his career, but he's proved capable at cornerback when healthy. After one season in Jacksonville in which he played 14 games, Amukamara joins a Chicago defense in desperate need of help.

Bennett had a strong rebound season acting as New England's second tight end and filling in for Rob Gronkowski late in the year. He could carve out an even bigger role in Green Bay with Aaron Rodgers throwing him the ball.
