The New York Giants backfield suffered a major blow on Sunday night after losing RB Andre Brown with a broken left fibula. Brown has played a key role for the Giants this season and his return to the field this season is in serious doubt. The loss of Brown could be very significant for the Giants with Ahmad Bradshaw now forced to play a larger role in the rushing attack and the speedy but turnover prone rookie David Wilson now becoming more involved. Bradshaw has battled foot issues for the majority of this season and usually does not practice with the team during the week in order to play on Sundays. Brown was one of the league’s top feel good stories this season. After being signed and released from various teams, he found a way to land on the Giants roster while rushing for nearly 400 yards and scoring 8 touchdowns. Brown was not the only injury the Giants suffered in their rout of the Green Bay Packers. S Kenny Phillips injured his right knee in the second half. Phillips has mis...

After tonight’s blow out win over the Packers, New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin announced that running back Andre Brown suffered a broke fibula that will end his 2012 season.  Brown really came on this season and showed everyone that he can be a legitimate NFL running back. Pick Him Up: David Wilson

Finally going to get my shot Juan… I have been wanting the Giants to get their first round pick involved in the game plan and now they may have to.  Andre Brown has suffered a broken leg and will miss the rest of the season.  This will obviously open the door for Wilson to get more involved. Wilson has some serious juice and can make huge plays anytime he touches the ball. ...

Giants roll as Eli's rested arm silences Packers

New York Giants QB Eli Manning certainly appeared well rested. His arm did need a nice rest; he didn't think so at first, but if last night's rout of the Green Bay Packers is any indication, it was just what he needed. Manning was 16-of-30 passing for 249 yards and three touchdowns. "I never thought my arm was tired, never felt like it," Manning said, via ESPN...

The Giants signed running backs Ryan Torain and Kregg Lumpkin Tuesday after placing Andre Brown on injured reserve with a fractured fibula Monday.Fantasy Spin:Torain and Lumpkin will give the Giants depth at running back but don't figure to be fantasy options. We expect New York to finally increase rookie David Wilson's role behind Ahmad Bradshaw.
