Jonah Williams entered a trade request to the Bengals this week amidst all of the shuffling along the offensive line. The left tackle wants to stay at that spot and isn't keen on moving to the right side as Orlando Brown Jr. enters that room.

NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport appeared on The Pat McAfee Show on Friday and thinks there could be a quick timeline for a trade.

"You know it could happen soon," Rapaport said. "There are teams that would like to get everything filled before the draft. That's kind of your goal, right? You want to go into draft with no holes, so you can just take the best player available. So Cincy's generally pretty reasonable. It could happen today."

Bengals offensive line coach Frank Pollack said he reached out to Williams on Friday and doesn't think he'll have any trouble moving to the right side.

The trade request is understandable, with it being a contract year for Williams. He has been with the team since 2019 and is a bargain this season on the $12.6 million fifth-year option. Still, Brown (18th) ranked much higher than Williams (55th) in ESPN's pass block win rate last season among other metrics.
