It's the middle of the season, which means it's time hand out the major awards. Most Valuable Player: Matt Ryan -- Quarterback -- Atlanta Falcons History tells us that the MVP goes to the best player on the best team in the league. Makes sense, and there's no argument against that logic. Well, with that logic, let's look at the best team in the league: the Falcons. Who's the best player on that team and the guy that makes everything go? Matt Ryan, their star quarterback. His numbers aren't the best in the league, but he's up there in every category, and most importantly he's clutch and smart. He rarely makes bad decisions. You can take away one player from the Falcons, whether it be Julio or Roddy or Abraham, and they'll survive. You can't take away Ryan, or they'll finish the season 2-5, if they're lucky. He's like Peyton Manning entering his prime. Offensive Player of the Year: Arian Foster -- Running Back -- Houston Te...

After comparing film from then and now, the Houston Texans tight end realizes he wasn't quite there yet. Now that he really has returned to form, Daniels has re-emerged as of the top tight ends in the NFL, and gives the Texans' powerful offense another...

Texans Bring back Jonathan Grimes

according to multiple reports, a day after the New York Jets released running back Jonathan Grimes, the Houston Texans claimed the rookie running back off of waivers and brought him back to Houston. Buffalo Bills at Houston Texans: Will Texans Lock Up Home Field Sooner Than Later?

Follow @Dan Vasta and like Gridiron Grit on Facebook This may not be a blowout if Ryan Fitzpatrick plays the game of his life, but that may seem nearly impossible right now. Plus, the Texans may obliterate Buffalo at the point of attack whereas C.J. Spiller would have to break off a few long runs to just keep it close. Houston does not allow many long plays let alone drives, so...

Staff Predictions: Bills vs. Texans

Frank: 44-13, Houston- I can't even sprinkle any veiled optimism into this one, its going to be ugly. I'm thinking that last year's Dallas game and this year's Jet games will look similar. I can't see any facet of Buffalo's game that can top Houston and I fully expect the media (and blogosphere) to **** all over Mario when he doesn't leave this one with...
