Football is over.

Get ready for long months filled with such highlights as:

-Human "props" used in dunk contests
-Women's NIT
-Former members of communist satellite states hoisting the cup
-Sexy combine shoots
-Tennis

In honor of season past, lets look at the top highlights of 2008-09 in the NFL.

Last year, I suprised er'one by picking Marion Barbers two-yard run as the NFL play of the year, over David Tyree's catch in the Super Bowl. Here's plays 5 to 1:

5. The S*it Call Heard 'Round The World. Ed Hochuli's call early in the season came under such scrutiny that he recieved death threats and stuff. Yeah, you thought that crap only happened in soccer-crazed Argentina or something.

4. Matt Cassel to Randy Moss. Cassel, subbing for Tommy Franchise, had a record-setting game against the Jets, highlighted by the most impressive snatch by Randy Moss.

3. Miami Wildcat Offense. The Dolphins, coming off a one-win season, pulled out all the stops on the way back to the playoffs this year. Their offense featured direct snaps to their talented running backs which gave oppositions nightmares.

2. Laces Out Of Bounds, Dannnn! Lions futility could be summed up in one play.

1. Santonio Holmes (probably) keeps his feet in bounds to catch the winning catch in the Super Bowl, after Big Ben floats a perfect pass to the corner.
