could say that NFL players are bad at marriage, but why look at it negatively?
The glass remains half-full here at The Corner. I say they have a gift for
divorce.
Greg Bishop of the New York Times penned a really interesting article this
weekend about NFL
players and marriage, and the numbers say that the two aren't always such a
great mix. It's suggested that 60 to 80 percent of NFL players' marriages
end in divorce. Yikes. We've got a league full of Larry Kings.
Jets long snapper James Dearth has made it his goal to help stem the divorce
tide. He's married with three kids, and he reaches out to help other players who
are looking for advice. His teammate Kris Jenkins was just married last month,
and statistically speaking, he faces an uphill battle.
