With the Ravens on their bye week I have little news to report. Flacco’s taking heat again, Ed Reed is finally getting recognized as one of the (if not the) greatest safeties of all time, and as the team sits at 3-1, one wonders how good they truly are.
Still, we’re now a quarter way through the regular season. I’m using the slow Raven’s news cycle as an opportunity to report, comment, and otherwise talk about the first four weeks of the regular season around the NFL.

Cam Newton’s play: I’ll be the first to admit that I thought Cam Newton would be a bust, and not the David Carr/Alex Smith kind of bust; the JaMarcus Russell/Ryan Leaf kind of bust: a complete disaster.
