NFL Recap is Players View’s daily digest of everything that is going on in the NFL. Adrian Gregory Glover talks London Fletcher, the Atlanta Falcons, Ryan Tannehill and who his Super Bowl dark horse pick could be.

London Bridge

The Washington Redskins are preparing to draft their offensive leader for the future in two weeks but their defensive captain of the recent past and present London Fletcher is staying put.

Our number one ranked linebacker in this years’ 2012 free agency class is sticking with the Redskins for at least another two years.

Neither the Redskins nor Fletcher ever waivered in their desire to get this done.

Fletcher, 36, is expected to retire after this contract is up. The Redskins would be wise to find themselves a solid 3-4 ILB during this year’s draft that can become Fletcher’s understudy.

The scheme is somewhat complex and his replacement will not only need strong play, they will need to absorb his ability to lead as well. That is a tall order.
