Chicago Bears safety Brandon Meriweather is drawing a lot of negative attention to himself lately. And if he continues to do so, he might start missing some games. The former Patriot was fined $20,000 for a helmet-to-helmet hit against the Panthers, and another $25,000 last week for an unnecessary roughness call against the Lions. But if he keeps up his vicious style of play, he'll be suspended. The decision won't come via Bears coach Lovie Smith, either. It will come from the NFL front office.
