Bengals rookie tight end Orson Charles could turn out to be a real steal for the Bengals.
Today is the 1st in a series of 10 Rookies who may be considered Underdogs but I think can be contributors or in some cases very good NFL players.
My First Pick of Underdog Player to watch this season is Tight End Orson Charles from the University Of Georgia, who was picked by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 4th Round #116 Overall.
Orson Charles had a good year at Georgia Last season catching 45 passes for 574 yards and 5 touchdowns. He has good hands and makes great catches away from his body but drops the easy balls too often. He is an improving blocker that should do well against NFL linebackers and Defensive Backs. Charles isn’t a great route runner but has showed improvement in that area consistently in all three of his years at Georgia.
