Second-year Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano might be on one of the hottest seats in the NFL as the league heads into it’s second half. The Buccaneers shocked the NFL world on Sunday as they jumped out to a 21-0 lead in Seattle over the Seahawks. Despite holding a 24-3 lead at the start of the third quarter, Tampa came away with another loss, 27-24 in overtime. This is now the 14th loss in 15 games for the Buccaneers under Schiano’s leadership. It seems as if his house is up for sale, and he’s lowered the price. Many Buccaneers fans are ready to run Schiano out of town and this news might come as welcome news, but the house Schiano has up for sale is actually in New Jersey, his abode he owned when he was the coach of Rutgers University. NJ.com reports that his former house, an 8,500 square foot house near the Rutgers stadium has seen another price reduction. Originally listed at $2.3 million, the price has been reduced to a mere $1.595 million. It’s a beautiful house. I ...

Darrelle Revis is perfectly happy getting paid in Tampa

The New York Jets may be a roller coaster, but the Tampa Bay Bucs are a dumpster fire. This has led at least one fan to wonder aloud whether Revis is happy with his increased salary on his new team,…Read more →

Darrelle Revis prefers money and losses with Bucs to wins with Jets

Darrelle Revis has had a quiet first season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. A lot of that has to do with the fact that the team is 0-8 and could be the worst in the NFL. Some of it has to do with the fact that Tampa Bay has insisted on playing zone coverages when […]

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 2014 Contenders?

The Tampa Buccaneers are a team in distress; they have just completed the first half of the 2013 season and have yet to win a game. Going back to last season they have lost 13 out of their last 14 games with their lone win against an Atlanta team who was resting their starters in Week 17 as they prepared for the playoffs. The team has had about everything imaginable go wrong for...

Bucs RB Doug Martin Looking To Return For Monday Night Football?

Despite a torn Labrum and an impending shoulder surgery for Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Doug Martin, there is a chance he may suit up and play next week against the Miami Dolphins. It might not be the best idea for “The Muscle Hamster’s” long term health. As an 0-8 team, the Bucs may not be shamed if  Martin gets back as fast as possible but the potential for career...

Despite loss, Buccaneers QB Mike Glennon showing improvement

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers let an improbable win on the road in Seattle slip away on Sunday despite leading the Seahawks 24-3 in the third quarter. The Tampa Bay offense took the field without two of their key offensive players, RB Doug Martin and WR Mike Williams. Tampa entered the game as 16-point underdogs but came prepared to play against the Seahawks. Head coach Greg Schiano has...

Goldson misses 2nd straight game for Tampa Bay

Free safety Dashon Goldson is sitting out his second straight game for Tampa Bay with a knee injury. Goldson had hoped to return Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks in the city where he was a college star at Washington, but his knee wasn't healthy enough. While Goldson was out, the Buccaneers did have strong safety Mark Barron ready to start. Barron had been questionable with...

Mike James throws TD on jump pass to Tom Crabtree (GIF)

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are pulling out all of the stops on Sunday including a jump pass from running back Mike James to tight end Tom Crabtree. Considering Tampa Bay was 16 point underdog its safe to say that few saw them having a 21-0 lead late in the second quarter.

WATCH: Mike James throws Tebow-style jump pass for TD

Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Mike James channeled his inner Tim Tebow and threw a jump pass for a touchdown against the Seattle Seahawks.

Darrelle Revis: Having more money, but fewer wins, with Buccaneers is better than winning with Jets

Players love to say “It’s not about the money.” Darrelle Revis is not one of those players. The ex-Jets cornerback — who was traded to the Buccaneers in the offseason and promptly signed an extension that will pay him $16 million this season and $98 million over the length of the six-year deal — said early Monday morning that losing, but having more money, in Tampa Bay...

Tampa Bay Buccaneers simply out coached in 2nd half again

The good teams finish. Tony Dungy had a great record in December. Jon Gruden, did not.  Tony Dungy's teams kept it close till the 4th quarter, then finished. Today's Bucs, do not. Thats because the Bucs do not have a coach that is capable of finishing games, and thus, his team, our team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, do not know how to finish games. You only have...

Bucs Running Back Mike James Throws Jump TD Pass Vs Seahawks

As I write this, the 0-7 Buccaneers lead the Seahawks in Seattle by the score of 24-7 in the third quarter, because... well, hell, I have no idea. Because the NFL is bonkers? Well, one of the Bucs' three touchdowns came on a Tim Tebow-esque jump pass from their running back, Mike James, to tight end Tom Crabtree. Yes, a jump pass, from their running back, for a touchdown....

Mike James Runs Wild vs. Seahawks

Buccaneers rookie running back Mike James had 158 rushing yards on 28 carries and also threw a two-yard touchdown pass Sunday at Seattle.Fantasy Spin:James only saw 10 carries in his first NFL start in Week 8 as Carolina controlled the clock, but he was heavily featured in Week 9. If Doug Martin (shoulder) is out again in Week 10 against Miami, fantasy owners can start James as RB2...

Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Mike James throws jump pass touchdown

The winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers have pulled out all the stops so far today against the Seattle Seahawks.  They’ve already kicked an onside kick and now they ran a running back jump pass, where Mike James threw a touchdown to tight end Tom Crabtree.  The Buccaneers are somehow beating the Seahawks 21-0 in Seattle.

The Buccaneers Blew A 21-Point Lead

A thorough dismantling of Greg Schiano’s Buccaneers would have been satisfying to watch, but it’s not like we haven’t seen that before. No, a novel downfall for this year’s Bucs team is to play well enough to build a prohibitive early lead, only to watch it dissolve into a devastating loss over the course of the second half and overtime. That’s right. This could have been...

Bucs execute jump pass TD from running back to tight end

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have come out of the gate hot against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday afternoon, and they’re tapping into their bag of tricks in the process. Bucs running back Mike James completed a successful jump pass to tight end Tom Crabtree for a touchdown in the first quarter to put Tampa up by two scores. You don’t see that every day.
