Green Bay Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings is still suffering from a groin injury that took place during the team’s season opening loss to the San Francisco 49ers. It cost him a chance to face the Chicago Bears just four days later on Thursday Night Football, but Green Bay was able to eek out an ugly win even without Jennings.
Fortunately for the Packers, it does not appear as if they will have to find out if they can win two games in a row without Jennings.
The wide receiver says he will play on Monday Night Football when the Packers hit the road to take on the Seattle Seahawks. He is still sore, but he said that he feels well enough to play and hopefully lead Green bay to another big win.
Head coach Mike McCarthy is still calling Jennings a game time decision, but even he admitted that the receiver has looked much better in practice over the past few days while hoping that this latest injury will not longer throughout the regular season.
