WR Laurent Robinson used his career year in with the Dallas Cowboys in 2011 in order to springboard into a new contract with the receiver needy Jacksonville Jaguars in 2012 during free agency. Coming off an 858 yard receiving season with a career high 11 touchdowns, the Jaguars expected him to put up some explosive numbers. That never happened in 2012, and he only appeared in seven games for the Jaguars this season.
Robinson suffered multiple concussions this season and told Andrea Kramer in an interview that he is still experiencing symptoms of his concussions and might retire. The receiver told Kramer he suffers from light sensitivity, has throbbing headaches and cannot be around his newborn child when she’s crying. He also told Kramer that he will not go to the grocery store or take the trash out in daylight hours and his wife stated he has issues watching television.
