Michael Vick is pointing a finger at the media for the Philadelphia Eagles’ woes throughout the 2012 NFL season. The Eagles are a disappointing 3-4 this season because of the media. It has nothing to do with the poor play calling of Andy Reid. It has nothing to do with all of Vick’s interceptions and fumbles and poor decisions. It has nothing to do with an overrated defense. It is all the fault of the media.
Man up, Michael, and at least share some of the blame with us. We are not the enemy here.
Well, I kind of am. I have never hidden my disgust for Vick both as a player, but more so as a person. I have no respect for him and, seemingly every time he opens his mouth, my already low level of respect actually falls even further.
That was once again the case after Vick’s comments following the Eagles’ practice on Friday.
“You guys create a lot of turmoil for us, sometimes,” Vick said after Friday’s practice. “It’s cool, man. We just got to battle through it. The quieter you all can be...
BEST OF MAXIM
Michael Vick told reporters that he plans on getting “back to being the old Michael Vick.“
“I’ve got to play the game and leave it all out on the field and play aggressive and shoot it and run the ball when I feel there is a need to,” said Vick, via Geoff Mosher of CSN Philly. “If I get a seam, get a crack, take it. Just do what I’ve been born to do, blessed to do...
Man stop your wining, Michael.
So the media is the cause of the Eagles’ maladies are the media’s fault?
He said after practice that the media are “creating turmoil.”
Grow a pair of ‘em Michael.
See if the line protects you.
Show us some umph and we will support you.
Andy Reid fired the defensive coordinator and the only reason he didn’t fire his offensive coordinator...
Michael Vick and Drew Brees came into the NFL the same year.
Now, they're in the same predicament.
Both are the quarterbacks of increasingly desperate teams, the season teetering on the edge of collapse.
Brees has essentially become a one-man show for the New Orleans Saints (2-5), who are plagued by a historically leaky defense and anemic running game.
For Vick, the stakes...
Michael Vick had enough to worry about Monday night after the Eagles lost their fourth game in a row, with Vick throwing an interception and getting sacked seven times.
But after the game, it got worse. Vick found out that his poor night had been accompanied by a Twitter rant by none other than his younger brother, Marcus Vick.
Marcus Vick unleashed a torrent of tweets, blaming Michael...
Are the Philadelphia Eagles a Super Bowl team? Is Michael Vick good enough to be considered a potential Super Bowl-winning quarterback?
We’ve all thought and talked about these types of things for a while now. The ultimate goal of every NFL team is to win the Super Bowl. Numerous things usually have to fall in place for a team to succeed in its goal.
Extraneous factors such...
What did we learn last night about the NFC? 1. The Saints and Eagles won’t be in the playoffs. 2. Michael Vick won’t end the year as the Eagles QB. As Rich Hofmann of the Philadelphia News says, it might not happen until December, but it’ll happen. 3. Fans from two below .500 teams had too much damn fun last night in New Orleans.
Yes, we saw the thickie. Kinda thinking she’s...
Job security in the NFL is nonexistent for just about anyone. The turnover at every position from the front office to the field is proof enough of that.
Sometimes, however, the heat gets kicked up a few degrees, and for a pair of NFC East teams, things are getting real hot.
Both the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles have undereachieved this season, and...
Andy Reid and the Philadelphia Eagles are playing to save their season tonight on Monday Night Football. If you want to point to a single pivotal game this year, this is it for the Eagles tonight.
The embattled team is not quite on life support yet, but they seem to be a team that is slowly dying. The “fire Andy” bandwagon is growing larger by the day and fans are...
Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints are having fun again. They hope it's a sign of things to come in the second half of the season.
Michael Vick kept picking himself up off the Superdome turf, the recipient of an awful beating.
The Philadelphia Eagles are down -- and nearly out.
Brees threw two touchdown passes, extending his NFL record streak to 51 games, and Patrick Robinson...
