The New England Patriots started the 2012 season with what was considered an exceptional amount of depth at the wide receiver position. As the season wore on, the Patriots roster became trimmed down at receiver and an injury last week has now forced the franchise to re-sign a receiver familiar with the Patriots offense. Veteran free agent Donte’ Stallworth was brought back to New England on Monday. New England could be without the services of WR Julian Edleman for an extended period of time. Stallworth was on the Patriots offseason roster but was released prior to the start of the regular season. His best season came in 2005 as a member of the New Orleans Saints, logging 70 r...
